Brain Fitness International ("BFI") programs, webinars, and private sessions embody the lifelong expertise of Paul Hyman, a globally recognized authority in brain injury recovery, stroke rehabilitation, neuroplasticity, trauma relief, and holistic wellness.

Paul specializes in working with Starseeds and Galactic Envoys, helping them process their deep trauma effectively, while teaching skills they can use to support themselves in moments of intense stress or chaos.

Paul's interventions have frequently yielded exceptional outcomes in complex cases of stroke, catastrophic brain injury, or critical conditions where conventional approaches proved ineffective.

Through BFI, Paul provides individualized one-on-one sessions to facilitate recovery from traumatic brain injury, stroke, PTSD, or addiction-related challenges. He also conducts half-day group training sessions on crisis management for professionals.

Paul Hyman is an internationally recognized authority in neuroplasticity, brain injury rehabilitation, stroke recovery, trauma intervention, and holistic wellness. With more than three decades of experience as a global consultant in wellness and lifestyle enhancement, he has made significant contributions to therapeutic practices and community health initiatives.

As the founder of Brain Fitness International, Paul Hyman pioneered Canada's inaugural Brain Fitness Program tailored for older adults, emphasizing cognitive vitality and resilience. In 2020, he introduced "Hymanizing for Harmony," an innovative non-verbal, movement-oriented protocol designed to enhance neuroplasticity and foster psychological resilience. His FUNN program supports children impacted by domestic violence, while PENG-911 has delivered specialized crisis management services for 17 years.

Previously, Paul Hyman served as a therapist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) for a decade, where he co-authored the seminal work Becoming Trauma Informed and published peer-reviewed research on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD) and substance use disorders. His exemplary contributions earned him CAMH's prestigious Nath Nayar Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Complementing his clinical expertise, Paul Hyman enjoyed a distinguished 15-year career as a professional trombonist, including nine years with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, which deepened his commitment to peak performance and expressive therapies. As a compelling keynote speaker and trainer, he has collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the Alzheimer Society of Canada, the Toronto District School Board, and Toronto Employment & Social Services, delivering programs on resiliency, self-care, and trauma-informed care.

Holding certifications in clinical hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Trager® psychophysical integration, Reiki, and additional modalities, Paul Hyman integrates evidence-based neuroscience with mind-body interventions.     Paul Hyman is a globally recognized wellness and lifestyle consultant with over 25 years of expertise in mind-body techniques for cognitive stimulation and holistic wellness, grounded in neuroscience research. He collaborates internationally with professionals to implement these methodologies and serves as a guest lecturer and keynote speaker on resilience, performance optimization, and trauma recovery.

    His clinical background includes a decade as a therapist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), where he contributed to therapeutic innovations in mental health and addiction treatment. Hyman's commitment to performance excellence originated during his 15-year tenure as a professional trombonist, performing with prominent entertainers, in television and film productions, and as a member of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra for nine years. He also instructed at Hong Kong University and the Academy for the Performing Arts, bridging artistic expression with therapeutic applications.

    Hyman pioneered Canada's first Brain Fitness Program for older adults, fostering cognitive vitality and neuroplasticity. Notably, he trained 1,700 staff and managers in resiliency and self-care for Toronto Employment and Social Services (TESS).
